Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to provide off-site support to patients, pharmacists, and providers. The position requires state registration as a pharmacy technician and 2–3 years of experience (3–5 preferred).

Qualifications

• State-registered pharmacy technician.
• 2–3 years of experience, 3–5 years preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide off-site POA, financial assistance, onboarding support.
• Educate prospective pharmacy patients about the hospital pharmacy services.
• Document patient information in EMR and Shields tools.
• Adjudicate test claims and prepare follow-up action plans.
• Maintain data entry and support process improvement initiatives.
• Protect patient confidentiality and data integrity.
