Qualifications

• Requires state-registered pharmacy technician with 2–3 years experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; CPhT certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide off-site medication management services to patients, pharmacists, and providers.
• Assist with prior authorization, financial assistance, onboarding, and refill support.
• Educate patients on hospital pharmacy services and adherence strategies.
• Manage insurance benefit investigations and PA processing under provider supervision.
• Document patient information in EMR and Shields systems; maintain confidentiality.
• Support process improvements and maintain high accuracy in data handling.
