Job summary

UC San Diego Health is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to manage Specialty pharmacy operations, ensuring quality, service, and productivity while complying with regulations for prescribing, preparation, storage, dispensing, administration and monitoring.

You will build partnerships in the Specialty Pharmacy field, drive business development and improve patient outcomes, with opportunities to lead staff, optimize workflows and coordinate across departments.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm D) or equivalent training.
Registered Pharmacist in the State of California.
Seven (7) or more years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of pharmacy practice and industry best practices in medication use.
Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations (federal and state).
Leadership skills in supervising employees and HR administration.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration across departments.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex issues.

Responsibilities
