Job summary

CPS Solutions, LLC, part of the Optum family of businesses, is recruiting a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison to coordinate pharmacy services within the health system's specialty and retail pharmacy in Illinois. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to ensure smooth communication and patient care.

Responsibilities include managing prior authorizations, patient education, and administrative tasks while supporting therapy initiation and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/ExCPhT).
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between providers, patients, and pharmacies to facilitate therapy initiation.
• Coordinate prescription intake, referrals, and documentation transmission.
• Support prior authorizations and benefits investigations with payers and providers.
• Educate patients on specialty pharmacy processes, timelines, and access.
• Track prescription status and resolve barriers to access and outcomes.
• Collaborate with care teams to support adherence and continuity of care.
