Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales preferred; high school diploma/GED with experience may be considered
• Proactively identifies customer style/behavior and adapts selling approach
• Operates effectively in a matrix environment and provides innovative ideas
• Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic knowledge and influences stakeholders
• Proven leadership potential in district/region roles
• English language proficiency (verbal and written) for all non-English speaking territories
• Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to access facilities in the assigned territory
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screening

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives to meet or exceed.
• Create pre-call plans and evaluate post-call outcomes to improve performance.
• Build trusted customer relationships and solve customer needs.
• Develop and execute call plans to maximize coverage and access.
• Share market intelligence to align brand strategy across teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie value with health providers and engage disease state experts.
