Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant industry experience required.
• Five years of experience in pharma/health/science with at least three years in sales preferred; high school diploma/GED accepted with equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership, strong presentation skills and business acumen; able to think strategically and critically.
• Ability to identify customer style and adapt selling approaches; works well in a matrix environment.
• HCIR credentialing requirements and valid driver’s license are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance and brand KPIs to meet or exceed objectives.
• Create pre-call plans and post-call evaluations to improve sales outcomes; handle objections and close calls.
• Build trusted customer relationships and align AbbVie’s value proposition with providers.
• Develop and execute call plans to optimize coverage and achieve set metrics.
• Share market insights on customers, landscape, competitors and disease states with field and brand teams.
• Identify disease state experts and speakers to support brand performance.
