Job summary

Genesis Resources is seeking an experienced Property & Casualty Underwriter to take ownership of a specialized and highly visible book of business. The role involves managing a portfolio with high-touch underwriting and direct interaction with banks, credit unions, agents, and brokers.

The ideal candidate will have underwriting experience in P&C, specialty insurance, or lender-placed programs, and will understand how to evaluate property and auto risks within lending portfolios.

Qualifications

• Underwriting experience in P&C or specialty insurance.
• Experience with lender-placed insurance or financial-institution-focused programs.
• Property and/or auto risk evaluation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a meaningful P&C underwriting portfolio with high-touch interactions.
• Interact directly with banks, credit unions, agents and brokers to manage approvals.
• Evaluate property and auto risks within lending portfolios and maintain book quality.
