Job summary

National Bank of Arizona, a Zions Bancorporation division, seeks a Specialty Loan Operations Administrator in the Biltmore/Phoenix (AZ) area. The role supports origination, closing, post-closing and portfolio maintenance, coordinating with Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers to ensure compliant loan processing.

Ideal candidates have a finance or banking background, strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in business/finance.
• Experience in banking, lending operations, or related financial services functions.
• Knowledge of lending principles, loan documentation and bank operations.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting docs.

Responsibilities

• Review loan requests for completeness and validate borrower exposure.
• Prepare and maintain loan documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate loan closings, signatures, notary services and closing requirements.
• Perform post-closing tasks, monitor documentation and funding readiness.
• Assist analysts by gathering information and supporting underwriting.
• Manage appraisal and environmental review processes and related reports.
• Monitor insurance requirements and obtain policies documented.
• Prepare GAR worksheets using financial statements and tax returns.
• Review entity documents and Good Standing certificates for loan files.
• Maintain organized loan files and cooperate with Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts.
