Job summary

BRIXMOR PROPERTY GROUP in Frisco, TX is seeking a Specialty Leasing Representative to expand non-recurring revenues. You will source new tenants, analyze markets, negotiate lease parameters and close transactions while building relationships with tenants, brokers, and owners.

This hybrid role requires 3+ years in specialty or perm leasing, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in specialty leasing or perm leasing
• Experience in canvassing and cold calling
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
• Strong communication, organization, and math skills
• Willingness to travel overnight

Responsibilities

• Perform specialty leasing activities including market analysis, sourcing new tenants, negotiating lease parameters, and closing lease transactions
• Negotiate and complete lease renewals
• Develop networks; establish tenant, broker and owner relationships
• Understand demographics, traffic patterns and market trends
• Travel will be required (overnight travel)

The Specialty Leasing Representative will report to the Vice President, Specialty Leasing. The main function of this role will be to expand the non-recurring revenues in the region including the sourcing of common area events and short term in line leasing activity. Travel will be required.Responsibilities:Perform all specialty leasing activities including market analysis, sourcing new tenants, negotiating lease parameters, lease analysis and closing lease transactionsNegotiate and complete lease renewalsDevelop networks; establish tenant, broker and owner relationships.Thoroughly understand demographics, traffic patterns and market trendsBe knowledgeable of the specialty leasing activity within the competing shopping centersExcellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.Sales experience in real estate or related field a plus.Requires ability to focus on many tasks and requests at once.Self-starter.
