Job summary

Brixmor is seeking a Specialty Leasing Representative in Frisco, TX to expand non-recurring revenues and source short-term in-line leasing opportunities. Travel will be required and the role reports to the Vice President, Specialty Leasing.

The candidate will source tenants, negotiate parameters, analyze markets, and close lease transactions while building strong relationships with tenants, brokers and owners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in specialty leasing or related field.
• Proven track record in leasing or sales.
• Ability to work independently.

Specialty Leasing Representative

The Specialty Leasing Representative will report to the Vice President, Specialty Leasing. The main function of this role will be to expand the non-recurring revenues in the region including the sourcing of common area events and short term in line leasing activity. Travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all specialty leasing activities including market analysis, sourcing new tenants, negotiating lease parameters, lease analysis and closing lease transactions
• Negotiate and complete lease renewals
• Develop networks; establish tenant, broker and owner relationships.
• Thoroughly understand demographics, traffic patterns and market trends
• Be knowledgeable of the specialty leasing activity within the competing shopping centers
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
• Sales experience in real estate or related field a plus.
• Requires ability to focus on many tasks and requests at once.
• Self-starter. Able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment.
• Ability to understand a situation and creatively, logically strategize alternatives and determine a course of action.
• Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and good time management skills are all required competencies.
• Strong mathematical skills required to perform financial calculations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in specialty leasing, perm leasing either mall or open-air centers.
• Proven Track record
• Experience in canvassing and cold calling
• Ability to work independently
