Job summary

The Clinical Pharmacist at LUX Infusion will oversee safe pharmacy operations across BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy locations, reviewing prescriptions, counseling patients, and ensuring accurate dispensing. The role requires CA licensure and a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, with emphasis on specialty therapies and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Graduate with a BS or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required.
Current, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the state noted in posting required.
Understanding of specialty therapies and patient support processes.
Experience providing customer service and meeting quality standards.
Basic level skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Support prescription management per BioMatrix processes and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with intake, referral, and pharmacy teams to onboard patients.
Ensure timely prescription fulfillment and order management.
Monitor drug therapies and advise on interventions as needed.
Provide comprehensive patient counseling on specialty medications.
Oversee pharmacy technicians and document performance.
Participate in training, onboarding, and quality assurance activities.
