Job summary

LUX Infusion is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist in Tyler, TX to ensure safe pharmacy operations, review prescriptions, and counsel patients. The role collaborates across departments to support specialty therapies and patient care, with on-site work and an on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD/BS with ACPE accreditation, an active license, and strong knowledge of specialty therapies. Experience in patient service, compliance, and mentoring staff is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a BS or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the state noted in posting required.
• Strong knowledge of specialty therapies and ability to lead teams through patient support.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers; meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support prescription management and documentation following BioMatrix processes and regulations.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and verify ingredients for suitability.
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling on specialty medications.
• Monitor drug therapies and advise on interventions as needed.
• Oversee and validate pharmacy technician activities and documentation.
