Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Specialty Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate patient appointments across multiple resources and gather records from internal and external entities to ensure accurate scheduling.

The coordinator will handle follow-up communications with patients, families, and clinical teams, and may be assigned to one or two specialty areas such as imaging, biopsies, infusion/chemotherapy, or radiation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments involving multiple resources and gather records from internal and external sources to ensure accurate scheduling.
• Follow up with stakeholders verbally, in writing, and electronically.
• Assist with one or two specialty areas such as imaging-guided biopsies, radiology exams, bone marrow transplant work-ups, infusion/chemotherapy, and radiation procedures.
