Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

• Support instruction and behavior interventions using ABA techniques as directed by the teacher.
• Facilitate communication using AAC devices and picture exchange systems under guidance.
• Use CPI techniques to ensure safety and support student regulation.
• Deliver individual or small group academic and functional instruction and monitor engagement.
• Provide first aid and emergency care when needed.
• Assist with needs related to working with special needs students (diapering, feeding, toileting, etc.).
• Assist with preparing materials for lessons and supervising students during activities.
• Attend required trainings and maintain student records in the SIS.
