Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a Specialized Instruction Tutor to support K-5 students with disabilities in small groups. You will assist in early literacy and foundational math skills under the guidance of the Special Education Teacher.

The role emphasizes collaboration with both Special Education and General Education staff to monitor progress and tailor instruction to individual student needs in a supportive classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; licensure in Special Education or related field preferred.

The Specialized Instruction Tutor works under the guidance of the Special Education Teacher to provide instruction in literacy and numeracy skills, monitoring progress, and communicating with the Special Education Teacher, and General Education Teacher.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Licensure in Special Education or a related field preferred.
• Ability to relate to children, teachers, and other school staff.
