Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a Specialized Instruction Tutor to support K-5 students with disabilities in small groups. You will assist in early literacy and foundational math skills under the guidance of the Special Education Teacher.

The role emphasizes collaboration with both Special Education and General Education staff to monitor progress and tailor instruction to individual student needs in a supportive classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; licensure in Special Education or related field preferred.
• Ability to relate to children, teachers, and other school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in literacy and numeracy under guidance of the Special Education Teacher.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with the Special Education and General Education teachers.
• Work with small groups of six or fewer students as needed.
