Job summary

Requires a BS or MS in Welding Engineering or related field with 3–5 years of experience, U.S. citizenship, and L security clearance. Domestic travel may be needed; commitment to quality and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Welding Engineering or related field from an accredited college with 3+ years (MS) or 5+ years (BS) of relevant experience.
• Experience leading laboratory work and presenting technical findings.
• Ability to plan, execute, and report experiments and testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, follow, and execution of work efforts; produce technical instructions and procedures.
• Travel to vendors and shipyards to support planning, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers to research, test, and evaluate repair technologies.
