Job summary

North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) is seeking a Consumer Services Specialist – Specialized Service in Chatsworth, CA. The role focuses on information provision, advocacy, and stabilization for individuals with complex needs within regulatory frameworks.

The candidate will manage a 1:25 specialized caseload, develop service plans, and work closely with families, clinicians, and agencies to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and four years of related experience required; a Master’s degree may substitute for two years.
• Experience servicing consumers with complex needs preferred; regional center or related agency background is a plus.
• Ability to apply regulatory and statutory information in practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advocacy, and case management stabilization services for consumers with complex needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive service plans in collaboration with consumers, families, and clinicians.
• Coordinate with service providers and outside agencies to arrange needed services.
• Facilitate communication with consumers, families, guardians, and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate case and funding records and produce reports.
