Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Time and Labor Specialist in Salt Lake City to compile and record teammate time and related pay data. You will compute time worked, vacation eligibility, and holiday pay, reviewing daily for accuracy and correcting time as needed.

The role requires Time and Labor experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong math, organizational, and communication skills. Full-time position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mathematical skills are required.
• Detail oriented, accurate, and deadline-driven.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 2+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll or accounts receivable.
• Time and Labor experience is required.
• English literacy to perform job tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and records teammate time and related pay data.
• Computes time worked, vacation eligibility, holiday pay, etc.
• Reviews time daily for missed punches and correct time as needed.
• Tracks/monitors data in the LMS system.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Tracks timeclock transactions in the warehouse, office or maintenance/mechanic areas. Researches missing punches, excessive overtime, and vacation or holiday eligibility. Works with supervisors to correct time before submitting time for processing. Collects data from LMS (Labor Management System).

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Mathematical skills are required.
• Detail oriented nature , accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• 2 or more years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll or accounts receivable.
• Time and Labor experience is required.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
