Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader for our Salt Lake City warehouse. You will lead daily operations, coordinate staff, and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.

This role involves hands-on supervision, use of power equipment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet distribution goals. Competitive benefits and clear path for advancement accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year in a distribution warehouse, operating reach truck, pallet jack and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks and shortages.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or manually.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (start of shift, vacations, sick calls).
• Handle additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

• Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour.
• Mon-Fri 3pm-1130pm

What You’ll Do As a Team Leader

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
