Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) to join the stroke service. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centred therapy to adults who have had a stroke on the hyper-acute and acute units at Lincoln County Hospital, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Registered SLT with NHS registration.
• Experience in stroke rehabilitation is desirable.
• Knowledge of dysphagia management.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage communication impairments after stroke.
• Manage a caseload on hyper-acute and acute stroke units.
• Supervise and monitor specialist treatment programmes delivered by junior SLTs and SLTAs.
• Allocate tasks while retaining responsibility for caseloads.
• Provide clinical support to SLTs and SLTAs.
