Job summary

Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Epping seeks an experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team. Based at St Margaret's Hospital, you will deliver stroke and neurology SLT to adults in inpatient, home and community settings across West Essex. You will supervise juniors and contribute to education and CPD within the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Speech and Language Therapist with stroke/neurology focus.
• Experience supervising junior staff and student placements.
• Ability to deliver education and training to multidisciplinary teams.
• Willing to work across inpatient, domiciliary and clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist stroke and neurological SLT to adults.
• Provide inpatient, domiciliary and clinic-based therapy.
• Support service development and supervise junior colleagues.
• Engage in CPD and training within MDTs.
