Job summary

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust seeks a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) to provide assessment, diagnosis and specialist interventions for adults after stroke. You will manage an acute caseload on the Stroke Unit at Lincoln County Hospital, supervise Band 5 SLTs and SLTAs, and provide clinical support to the team. This is an acute-care post with leadership responsibilities.

Experience in stroke rehabilitation and line-management is desirable; ACUTE only.

Qualifications

• Assessment and intervention for adults after stroke.
• Clinical supervision of junior SLTs and SLTAs.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis and specialist intervention for adults post-stroke on the Stroke Unit.
• Supervise Band 5 SLTs and SLTAs and allocate tasks as needed.
• Provide clinical support to SLTs and SLTAs within the team.
