Job summary

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead Head and Neck cancer SLT care at ULTH, handling a varied caseload across the head and neck pathway including tracheostomy and laryngectomy cases.

You will work closely with ENT, Maxillofacial and Oncology teams, providing assessments and interventions across the patient journey, and supporting junior staff within a collaborative, learning-oriented service.

Qualifications

• Assess and manage Head and Neck cancer SLT caseload.
• Provide instrumental dysphagia assessments (FEES and videofluoroscopy).
• Attend weekly MDT clinics with ENT, Maxillofacial and Oncology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient assessments for speech, voice and swallowing.
• Input into instrumental dysphagia assessments and prioritise high-need patients.
• Collaborate across ENT, Maxillofacial, Oncology, Dietetics, Radiology and CNS teams.
