Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with a focus on acute mental health care. You will lead SLT within the Physical Health Therapies Team and work across sites to improve the physical health therapy offer for adult service users in acute mental health wards.

You will provide assessments and interventions for dysphagia and related community difficulties while supporting staff through leadership programs and professional supervision.

Qualifications

• Registered Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) with registration in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of speech and language therapy within the Physical Health Therapies Team.
• Conduct clinical assessments and interventions for patients with dysphagia and community difficulties.
• Collaborate across acute mental health care sites to shape and develop high-quality SLT services.
