Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Relocation Specialist's primary responsibilities of thisposition are coordination and set up of University-related events,including event setup/installation and subsequent take-down/removalof all equipment and materials, including general cleanup andrestoration of rooms and areas after conclusion of event.University-related events include but are not limited to eventsbooked by the University's Conferences and Events Center, and otherUniversity departments (setting up graduations, weddings, banquetsetc.) Secondary responsibilities include delivering items to campusand to departments across campus, such as boxed or pallet shipping.Sometimes off campus pickup and delivery. Pickup and delivery ofoffice furniture, and occasionally resident hall furniture. TheRelocation specialist position is a part of Facilities Managementthat serves the campus community. This includes but is not limitedto helping with departments or other facility shops to ensure thecampus has successful and efficient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: One year of work experience

Licensure & Certifications: Valid statedrivers license is required
