Job summary

Middle Tennessee State University is seeking a Specialist - Recruitment in Undergraduate Recruitment. Reporting to the Director, you will support the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students through on-campus recruitment activities, student engagement, and event programming.

As the primary contact for prospective students and families visiting MTSU, you will provide information, assist with campus tours, and represent the university professionally.

Job Summary/Basic Function

Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment, the Specialist - Recruitment supports the recruitment and enrollment of prospective students through on-campus recruitment activities, student engagement, and event programming. The Specialist - Recruitment serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students and their families visiting Middle Tennessee State University and represents the University in a professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable manner. Essential duties include providing information to prospective students and families; assisting with on-campus recruitment events and campus tours; maintaining regular communication with prospective students; supporting recruitment initiatives and special projects; and collaborating with campus partners to provide a positive and seamless prospective student experience. Evening and weekend work is required to support recruitment events and activities.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree required.

Required Related Experience

One year of full-time experience in higher education.

Required License/Registration/Certification

Valid driver's license required.

Desirable Related Experience

One year of full-time experience in admissions, recruitment, enrollment management, student services, or a related field is preferred.
