Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking Specialists in Practice Operations to support organizational practice operations, monitor budgets and targets, and evaluate policies and procedures. This role reports to the Service Line Administrator and provides interim managerial support when needed.

The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration with management and physicians, and delivering results aligned with IU Health's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2-4 years professional office experience (preferably healthcare related), and familiarity with health care organizations required. Masters of Health Administration or Masters of Business Administration may be accepted in lieu of experience.
• Accounting, Business, Management, Science or Health Administration concentration preferred.

Summary

Provides support in practice operations for the organization and reports to the Service Line Administrator. Will monitor budgets and practice targets, evaluate and implement policies and procedures, manage projects, and work with all levels of management and physicians to accomplish goals. Provides interim managerial support in the absence of a Practice Administrator and or Clinic Manager.
