Administrator-Practice Operations

Description

This position serves to support operations for IU Health Medical Group Metro region. This position will collaborate with other administrative departments within IU Health, serve as a resource for our teams and leaders, be a liaison with multiple vendors impacting operations, assist with implementing system initiatives and increase operational efficiencies across the medical group.

Responsibilities

Identifies opportunities to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Uses program/project management to coordinate with clinical and administrative leaders, and support of strategic initiatives to enhance contributions to patient care and organizational goals.

Key Relationships

Reports to: Director-Practice Operations

Direct Reports: None

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Requires a blend of management skills with technical expertise proven by superior planning, decision-making.
