Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services, Inc. is seeking a Billing Supervisor to lead the medical claims workflow for our health plans.

You will review and assign ICD-10-CM, CPR and HCPCS codes to outpatient records and ensure timely and accurate submissions in our billing system. The ideal candidate has at least two years in healthcare billing, experience with automated billing systems, and strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• Level I High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare billing, collections & coding.
• Experience with automated billing systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must have previous experience coaching and/or developing staff.
• Must have experience training new employees, handling product changes and new client implementations.
• Required to uphold the principles of compliance as outlined in the Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and related policies and procedures. Supports and participates in the mandatory Corporate Compliance Program training initiative on an annual or more frequent basis, as required.

Responsibilities

• The Supervisor is responsible for reviewing and processing all medical claims to the health plan in a timely and accurate manner.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately assign/review ICD-10-CM, CPR and HCPCS code to outpatient medical records.
• Enters and reviews claims into billing system, reviews missing documentation and request/obtain appropriate information from the PCP.

What Will You Be Doing
