Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, is seeking a highly motivated Operations Lead for the Compressions Systems Module Center (CSMC). You will guide 2nd shift, drive safety, quality, and cost improvements, and manage projects with cross‑functional teams. Training on first shift may be required for up to 3 months.

The role emphasizes people leadership, shop floor execution, and adherence to CORE/ACE/SixSigma principles, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3+ years in Military, Manufacturing, Business Operations Management, Engineering, Aerospace or Aftermarket
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years relevant industry experience
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years relevant industry experience
• High School diploma or Military/Technical Training with 9+ years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to skilled bargaining unit employees.
• Lead employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement and cost reduction.
• Perform daily supervisor responsibilities including project management and effective communication with support group members.
• Establish work schedules considering customer requirements and resource availability.
• Provide leadership focused on team building through toolbox meetings and strong communications.
• Demonstrate 100% dedication to Quality, Environment Health and Safety (EHS).
• Drive quality and customer satisfaction through CORE operating system.
