Job summary

RTX's Execution Operations (XOPS) at Andover, MA seeks a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to lead a 15-20 person team in the Precision Metal Fabrication value stream. Plan, organize and direct workflow to meet quality, cost and delivery targets in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure a safe work environment and drive continuous improvement using lean/Six Sigma methodologies, coordinating with various functions to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Supervisory, leadership and/or Operations/manufacturing experience is required.
• Lean manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute schedule and cost management for the production cell.
• Plan workforce and forecast staffing needs.
• Hire and train employees and manage attendance.
• Oversee area layout and flow, control overhead expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, finance, and PMO to meet goals.
