Job summary

General RV Center is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Associate to join our parts team in Ashland, VA. You will coordinate special part orders, track inventories, and support service and sales staff to keep customer units moving smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, basic Excel skills, and reliable work ethics. Previous experience in automotive or RV parts is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a family-owned leader in the RV industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior retail or wholesale parts experience preferred.
• Must be able to multitask and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate special part orders with manufacturers and diligently follow up to ensure parts are received as quickly as possible.
• Analyze service log to determine the physical customer units on the lot and whose parts have been received.
• Assist with organizing and managing the parts shelves.
• Participate in daily service meetings.
• Provide constant communication with service managers, advisors, special order parts team and manufacturers.
• Confirm parts are charged to work order, prior to being placed into the customer unit.
• Ensure part orders are correct and undamaged. Communicate with manufacturer and returns parts if applicable.
• Other duties assigned by management.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Must be able to communicate thoroughly and effectively.
• Valid driver’s license.
