Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Berlin, PA is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Caregiver to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them gain independence and participate in daily activities.

You will work part-time with flexible shifts, driving clients to appointments when needed, and receive weekly pay up to $19 per hour along with benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old and have reliable transportation.
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship.
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible.

What You'll Do as a Special Needs Caregiver:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

• Weekly pay - up to $19/hr.
• Flexible part-time schedules
• Multiple shifts available
• Work close to home

What We're Looking For in Special Needs Caregivers:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years of age
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities
