Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Special Needs Caregivers in York and surrounding areas to provide one-on-one in-home support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. You’ll empower independence, mentor clients, and help them build skills in community settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• One year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Training may be available through our apprentice program if you don’t have experience
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities

BAYADA is hiring Special Needs Caregivers in York and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll work one-on-one in home and community settings, supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities as a trusted companion and mentor, helping them build skills, confidence, and independence.

What You’ll Do as a Special Needs Caregiver:

• Support participation in community activities
• Empower clients to live independently and reach their full potential
• Assist with personal care (dressing, grooming)
• Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Engage in hobbies, activities, and meaningful companionship

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay starting at $18-19/hour
• Weekly pay
• Part-time, flexible scheduling with various shifts available
