Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a part-time Special Needs Caregiver in Elkin, NC. You will provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them gain independence and achieve personal goals.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, transporting clients to activities, and offering encouragement and companionship. This role offers flexible part-time schedules and close-to-home shifts, with competitive benefits.

We are currently hiring part-time Special Needs Caregiver / Direct Support Professionals /DSPs in the following areas:

• Elkin, NC
• Jonesville, NC

What You'll Do as a Special Needs Caregiver:

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule

$16.00/hr.

• Weekly pay

What We're Looking For in a Special Needs Caregiver:
