This is a contingent position based upon contract award.

KBR seeks a motivated and career-oriented Special Events Manager to support a government client in the Washington Metropolitan Area, as part of the acquisition management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a range of special events from private dinners to large conferences involving hundreds of attendees.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure successful event planning and execution aligned with mission objectives.
• Support and manage event personnel.
• Oversee AV team coordination for setup, use, and disassembly of audio/video systems.
• Assist in finding alternative venues when government facilities are unavailable, adhering to security guidelines.
• Support event planning, including attending meetings and suggesting improvements.
• Coordinate with food vendors for equipment needs.
• Maintain records of events, including attendance and equipment used.

Qualifications

Required:

• TS/SCI clearance with willingness for polygraph upon request.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Associate's degree or relevant certifications in Event Management.

Desired:

Additional details on compensation and benefits are provided, including a range of $69,400 - $104,100 for Maryland residents, potential bonuses, and KBR's commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
