This is a contingent position based upon contract award.

KBR seeks a highly motivated and career-oriented Special Events Manager supporting a government client in the Washington Metropolitan Area. You will be part of the acquisition management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a variety of special events, including private dinners, conferences, and receptions.
• Coordinate logistical activities to ensure successful event execution supporting mission objectives.
• Support and manage special events personnel.
• Oversee AV team coordination for setup, use, and disassembly of audio/video systems.
• Assist in finding alternative venues when government facilities are unavailable, in accordance with security guidelines.
• Support event planning, including attending meetings and suggesting enhancements.
• Coordinate with food vendors for equipment needs.
• Maintain detailed records of events.

Qualifications

Required:

• TS/SCI clearance with willingness for polygraph if requested.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• US Citizenship.
• Associate's degree or relevant certifications in Event Management.
• Experience managing a wide range of events and logistical activities.

Desired:

• Basic Compensation: $69,400 - $104,100 (Maryland area).
• Additional Compensation: Bonuses, incentives, or other benefits as per policy.
