Position Overview: Our company seeks an events and project management professional with proven success managing high-touch events and experiences to join us as Senior Events Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of both TRUE and Patriot-related corporate events (in-person and virtual), working with clients, event sponsors, special guests, venue teams and vendors. You will work with other team members and rotate from serving as both a lead planner and an assistant planner.
Work Location: This is a full time, fully remote position, with a preference for candidates residing in the U.S. Central Time zone.
Professional Responsibilities
- Project-manage the planning process from concept to completion for a varied event portfolio that includes board meetings, executive retreats, incentives, educational conferences, shareholder meetings, third-party client events, and others
- Establish pre-event, onsite, and post-event plans ranging from rooming lists, event orders, audio-visual specifications, runs of show, event team schedules, and emergency management documentation
- Build and manage event registration websites, post-event surveys, and onsite mobile application
- Lead agenda and content development team meetings, manage speaker pre-calls, and ensure all content has been reviewed prior to the event to ensure alignment with learning objectives
- Provide onsite support for events, ensuring all logistics are handled while simultaneously serving as a host and point of contact for all attendees
- Provide in-studio support for virtual events
- Independently source and manage all vendors, including DMCs, transportation, hotels, venues, décor, speakers, artists, and more
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to establish pre-, onsite, and post-event deliverables
- Collaborate with partnership teams to deliver on sponsor marketing agreements
- Source gifts, swag, giveaways, and more
- Manage and adhere to budget for events, including ROI tracking and post-event reporting
- Provide travel and logistics support for attendees
- Other duties as assigned to ensure exceptional experiences for all attendees
Qualifications And Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a business-related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience planning and executing events in a professional services or hospitality environment
- Experience in the insurance, financial services or technology industry preferred
- Experience with event technology and tools (Cvent, Guidebook, Zoom Webinars)
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Highly organized, detailed-oriented, and able to work under strict deadlines
- Self-sufficient, goal-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with internal and external teams and partners
- Capable of managing multiple events simultaneously, efficiently and effectively
- Proven ability to seamlessly shift from behind-the-scenes coordination to front-facing roles, including moderating sessions as required
- Creates or modifies processes/procedures to simplify tasks
- Ability to travel 35% domestically, with some trips spanning up to 7 days at a time
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future

Compensation Range: A starting base salary in the $80,000 to $100,000 range, depending on the candidate’s experience.
A wide salary range is posted for this position, and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
