Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is assisting an SEN school in Epping/Ongar to recruit a patient and caring SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP. The school supports primary and secondary pupils with a range of needs, providing structured routines and personalised learning.

You will deliver 1:1 and small group support, help with communication and EHCP targets, and collaborate with teachers and specialists to maintain a calm, nurturing environment and promote independence.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups.
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
  • Willing to support personal care where needed.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Epping/Ongar that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.
