Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-resourced SEN school in Enfield from September. You will provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes, helping with communication and engagement while following EHCP targets.

The role requires calm, resilient candidates who can support pupils with ASD, ADHD and complex needs, including personal care when needed. A supportive team and ongoing consultant backing are offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Comfortable working across primary and secondary age groups.
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
  • Willing to support personal care when needed.
  • Strong team player with proactive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role in September where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Enfield that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision from September.

The Role
