Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is assisting a well-resourced SEN school in Epping/Ongar to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for primary and secondary pupils. The role is full-time and long-term with an ASAP start, offering valuable opportunity to support pupil wellbeing and development.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with communication and personal care where needed, and work closely with teachers and SENCOs.

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Willing to work across primary and secondary age groups.

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Epping/Ongar that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs

• Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
• Willing to support personal care where needed
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
