Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a patient and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary and secondary ages in a well‑resourced SEN school in Epping/Ongar. Start ASAP; full‑time, long‑term with potential permanent placement.

Role focuses on 1:1 and small group support, aiding communication, emotional regulation and engagement, while following EHCP targets and working closely with teachers and SENCOs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Confident supporting primary and secondary pupils.
• Willing to support personal care where needed.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Epping/Ongar that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
• Willing to support personal care where needed
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
