Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking dedicated SEN Teachers for immediate starts in Epping, working across primary and secondary settings in SEN schools. The role focuses on delivering accessible lessons, assessing progress, and supporting learners with diverse needs in structured environments.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, adapt plans to EHCP targets, and contribute to positive behaviour management. Interviews are held promptly for long-term placements.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • PGCE or equivalent training.
  • Experience or strong interest in SEN education (primary or secondary).
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement.
  • Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities.
  • Create a safe, structured learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress.
  • Support communication, behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Collaborate with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams.
  • Monitor and report pupil progress in line with school expectations.
  • Implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans.

Role Overview

We are working with a range of SEN schools in Epping (primary and secondary settings) who are looking for dedicated SEN Teachers to join their teams immediately.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement
  • Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities
  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
  • Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
  • Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
  • Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
  • Implement and follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans
  • Support positive behaviour management strategies across the classroom
Candidate Requirements
