Zusammenfassung

The Harmony Trust is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) to join our team. You will ensure the SEND Code of Practice is implemented, hold high expectations of achievement and behaviour, and lead by example to inspire children and colleagues.

You will support the senior trust leader and academy principals in delivering the vision, and have access to a Trust Senior Leader for SEND coaching and mentoring to develop practice across the trust.

The successful candidate will:

• Have sound knowledge of the SEND Code of practice, the Trusts SEND Policy and related procedures to ensure its implementation
• Hold High Expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour
• Lead by example, inspiring and motivating children and colleagues
• Have a commitment to supporting & developing the learning of all learners including those with EAL, who are disadvantaged or have SEND
• Support The Senior Trust Leader and principals in implementing academy visions and development priorities
• Have access to a Trust Senior Leader for SEND who will act as a coach and mentor.
