Job summary

The Harmony Trust is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) to join our team. You will ensure the SEND Code of Practice is implemented, hold high expectations of achievement and behaviour, and lead by example to inspire children and colleagues.

You will support the senior trust leader and academy principals in delivering the vision, and have access to a Trust Senior Leader for SEND coaching and mentoring to develop practice across the trust.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and related policies.
• High expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour.
• Lead by example to inspire and motivate learners and colleagues.
• Commitment to supporting learning for all including those with EAL and SEND.
• Support senior leaders in implementing academy visions and development priorities.

Responsibilities
