Job summary

Community Workforce Solutions seeks a Special Education Vocational Facilitator/Instructor to work with high school students in Rockingham and Caswell Counties. This 10-month, full-time role supports Pre-ETS, helping students explore careers, build workplace readiness, and pursue independence after high school.

You will deliver life-skills instruction, adapt materials, and collaborate with school staff while traveling between sites. A degree in a related field and NC driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience teaching, training, or working with students or individuals with disabilities.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel between school sites throughout Rockingham County and Caswell County.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver career-readiness and life-skills instruction.
• Work with students individually and in small groups or classrooms.
• Prepare and adapt lesson materials and hands-on activities.
• Support student participation, skill development, and progress.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and assist with required reporting.
• Collaborate with school staff and other Pre-ETS team members.
