Job summary

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a High School Pre-Employment Transition Instructor to work with students with disabilities across Rockingham & Caswell Counties. You will lead instruction to explore career opportunities, develop workplace skills, and prepare for independence after high school.

The role requires delivering engaging lessons, collaborating with school staff, and traveling to multiple high schools within the counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, Rehabilitation, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience teaching or working with students with disabilities.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction for different learning needs.
• Valid North Carolina driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel between Rockingham County & Caswell County school sites.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Pay: $22.00/hour

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a High School Pre-Employment Transition Instructor to work with students with disabilities throughout Rockingham & Caswell Counties. As part of our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program, you'll lead instruction that helps students explore career opportunities, develop workplace skills, and prepare for greater independence after high school.

What You'll Do
