Job summary

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a Special Education Vocational Facilitator to support students with disabilities in Wake County as part of the Pre-ETS program. You will assist with workplace readiness, life skills, and independence planning for students ages 14-22 across multiple high schools.

The role involves supporting instruction, creating hands-on activities, documenting progress, and collaborating with school staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid NC driver's license and ability to travel between Wake County sites.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction and student activities
• Work with students individually and in small groups
• Prepare lesson materials and hands-on activities
• Encourage participation and skill development
• Maintain program documentation and assist with billing
• Collaborate with instructors and school staff
• Travel between assigned high schools throughout Wake County
