Job summary

The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking Grade 1-5 SPED certified coaches to provide one-on-one reading, math, and executive function intervention. You will work with students who require targeted strategies and progress monitoring to reach academic goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Speech Language Pathology with SPED certification, and experience with neurodivergent learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Speech Language Pathology.
• Certification as a Reading Specialist, Math Specialist or SPED Teacher.
• Experience working with neurodivergent learning populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction using evidence based practices to support students diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, ASD, or executive dysfunction.
• Identify specific areas of need using assessment tools.
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans addressing students’ unique challenges.
• Monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with parents and educators to communicate progress and strategies for support.
• Create a positive, encouraging learning environment that motivates reading growth.
